Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior MIP Engineer to join their
development team focused on mathematical optimization systems.
Key Responsibilities
Research, design, implement, and benchmark algorithms for solving
Mixed-Integer Programming (MIP) and other optimization problems
Develop tests to validate the accuracy, efficiency, and reliability
of new algorithms and features
Collaborate with other teams to improve development tools and
integration capabilities
Required Qualifications
PhD in Operations Research, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a
related field with a focus on mathematical optimization or
equivalent experience
Extensive experience with C/C++ development
Deep understanding of MIP solvers such as Gurobi, IBM Cplex, or
SCIP
Experience with Python, Java, or C# is beneficial
Familiarity with cloud computing and containerization (Docker) is a
plus
