your choiceWhat to ExpectAs the subject matter expert, the Disaster
Recovery Management Manager is responsible to ensure HCA critical
business services can be recovered and continue its operations in
the event of a disaster which renders our data center as
inoperable. This role will collaborate with various departments and
outsourced vendors to conduct annual recovery tests and to ensure
alignment with business continuity objectives are met.What You Will
Do
- Disaster Recovery Plan Design, Testing & Implementation:
- Develop, maintain, and implement disaster recovery plans and
procedures to ensure the organization can recover from various
types of disruptions.
- Conduct regular disaster recovery tests and drills to evaluate
the effectiveness of the plans and identify areas for
improvement.
- Ensure that disaster recovery plans comply with relevant laws,
regulations, and industry standards.
- Continuously review and update disaster recovery plans to
reflect changes in the organization's operations, technology, and
external environment.
- Maintain detailed documentation of disaster recovery plans,
procedures, and test results.
- Provide training and awareness programs to employees on
disaster recovery procedures and best practices.
- Lead the response efforts during actual disaster events,
coordinating recovery activities, and communicating with relevant
parties.
- Coordinate with various departments and stakeholders to ensure
that disaster recovery plans are designed, well-integrated, and
that everyone is aware of their roles and responsibilities.
- Conduct risk assessments to identify potential threats and
vulnerabilities that could impact the organization's
operations.
- Perform business impact analyses to determine the critical
functions and processes that must be restored quickly in the event
of a disaster.
- Project Management:
- Lead the planning, execution, and completion of IT
infrastructure projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and
within budget.What You Will Bring
- Minimum 8 years progressive related experience working with
cloud-based (i.e., AWS, Azure, etc.), on-premises and/or Hybrid
environment DR solutions.
- Experience working with ServiceNow is preferred.
- Familiarity with industry-specific continuity standards and
frameworks, such as ISO 22301, ITIL, and NIST SP 800-34 is a
plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or
a related field.
- AWS Solutions Architect certification preferred.
- In-depth understanding of disaster recovery (DR) and business
continuity planning (BCP) methodologies, strategies, and best
practices.
- Strong knowledge of DR principles, strategy, and
technologies.
- Demonstrated knowledge of disaster recovery tools for backup,
replication, visualization, system monitoring, and recovery.
- Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership/interpersonal skills to manage stakeholder
expectations/objectives and to lead diverse groups to successful
project implementation.Employees in this class are subject to
extended periods of sitting, standing and walking, vision to
monitor and moderate noise levels. Work is performed in an office
environment.
