A company is looking for a Director of State Government
Relations.
Key Responsibilities
Manage external lobbying and grassroots firms to address state
policy issues
Develop legislative strategies and messaging on key policy
issues
Advocate for the company and its customers in front of
policymakers
Required Qualifications
BA/BS required; JD preferred
Minimum of 10 years of public policy/state government
experience
Experience building coalitions with industry stakeholders
Ability to learn the complexities of a highly regulated
industry
Intuitive grasp of political landscapes and legislative
processes
