Job Description:
A company is looking for a Claims Practice Leader for
Disability.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage claim strategies and processes within the
Disability claims area
Lead improvement initiatives and mentor team members to enhance
customer experience
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify
enhancement opportunities and ensure compliance with
regulations
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience with a High School
Diploma/GED required
7 years of experience in a claims management role dealing with
group life and disability insurance products (STD/LTD)
5 years of absence management experience preferred
Knowledge of state and federal claim and leave regulations
CLMS designation preferred; ability to acquire a New York State
Adjusters License is helpful
